Sorry about my absence these last couple of weeks. My dog Vito had to be put down. He was suffering from an oral melanoma, and long story short, it’s an aggressive cancer and we’d exhausted all our options. I’m just glad he isn’t in pain anymore.

Anyway, I also wanted to update you on the books I’ve been reading! I finished Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz. I’ll review it soon, but in a nutshell, I loved it!

I’ve also started reading The Music Room by Namita Devidayal. I’m working on finishing it this weekend!

I’m also looking for book recommendations. It can literally be anything at this point…as long as it’s fiction. I’m just so bored in the lockdown and reading is helping me get through it. So hit me up with your recommendations! (Bonus points if it’s Queer fiction.) Thank you!
I’ll be posting more soon, I promise. Stay safe! Wear a mask! Wash your hands! Bye!
Try reading 10 Minutes 38 Seconds in this Strange World by Elif Shafak, if you have not already read it. It is not exactly queer fiction but has a queer element to it. The Ministry of Utmost Happiness by Arundhati Roy will also be a good pick.
